Etymology

Named for Dutch gardener and cactus enthusiast Arnoldus Jacobus “Nol” Brederoo (1917-1999). Buining: “I gladly name it after my collaborator A. J. Brederoo, who has made our publications considerably more valuable with his more than excellent and meticulous drawing.”
