Lemariocereus hort. Etymology

Variant spelling of Lemaireocereus, which is named for French botanist Charles Lemaire. Perhaps an intentional “correction”, based on Lemarius as a latinization of Lemaire (compare Melocactus lemarii), but more likely a spelling error by English-speaking authors, for whom both spellings result in the same pronunciation.
