Latin Angelesĭae, genitive (possessive) form of Angelesĭa, latinization of Ángeles. Named for Roberto Kiesling’s wife Ángeles Graciela López de Kiesling (-1985), “who collaborated with enthusiasm in the preparation of this work” (Kiesling). Kiesling misspelled the epithet angelesii.
