Echinocereus pentalophus ‘Albiflorus’

Echinocereus pentalophus 'Albiflorus' hort. ex Eggli in E.F.Anderson, ()
🌵 Author(s)
Etymology

Latin albiflorus ‘white-flowering’. For the white flowers (pink to pink-magenta in the nominate form).

Sometimes called Echinocereus pentalophus var. albiflorus or Echinocereus pentalophus f. albiflorus, but these names were never validly published. The cultivar name is also invalid because Latin names are (with some exceptions which don’t apply here) unacceptable under the International Code of Nomenclature for Cultivated Plants.

Presumably identical to Echinocereus pentalophus ‘ISI 2018-4’.
