Not explained by the authors (Schaub & Keim in Au Cactus Francophone. 2015, accessed October 10, 2022, French translation by Nicolas Pointeau of the original article in Cactus & Co. 10(2): 124. 2006 [not seen]) Presumably for the occurrence at Quebrada el León, northeast of Caldera, Copiapó, Atacama, Chile.
