Byles, nom. inval. (1954)
Etymology
🌵 Author(s) | Ronald Byles |
Greek anthos ‘flower’ + Rhipsalis. According to R.S. Byles (Natl. Cact. Succ. J. 9(3): 57. 1954) a misspelling of Acanthorhipsalis in the protologue of Acanthorhipsalis paranganiensis Cárdenas (Cactus (Paris) no. 34: 126. 1952) [= Pfeiffera paranganiensis], but it is not mentioned there.
